When they show a clip from Marty Supreme while going through the names of the Best Actor nominees, I hope they show the scene where he’s giving tips on acting to Kay Stone’s castmate in the play rehearsal scene.

I don’t think Wes Anderson is making his movies to get any noms, but i’d like it if he were making movies with big swing needledrops in them again and aiming more for MTV Movie Awards than the Oscars.

I think I’ve been in this mindset for a long time. It’s absolutely a genre, not an indication of the quality. Quiz Show and American Hustle are GoodFellas. Maybe I, Tonya too.

There were plenty of nice moments, and I had a pleasant time revisiting the characters. But I didn’t feel like much was explored or advanced. Everyone who has given it raves i assume have been bought by Sony.

Bone Temple was disappointing. Spike hardly spoke or did much of anything, and there was no other clear protag in his place. The plot meandered all the through to the end, and when the credits rolled I was I was stunned, because I didn’t feel like a climax had even happened.

I knew Vin Diesel would be my number one actor because i decided to watch all the fast and the furious movies this summer, but i forgot about my David Lynch mourning period and was surprised and sad again at my no. 1 director
