Winners of the 2025 Table Contest - Posit We had many submissions to the Posit 2025 Table Contest and this post will show you the winners, the special prize recipients, and the runners up!

Seeing this years @posit.co table contest winners was inspiring: posit.co/blog/2025-ta.... It's amazing to see the functionality others came up with.

My favorite? Leo Ohyama's: github.com/leoohyama/po... .

The ticker at the top was a really neat idea.

Congratulations to my student, Maggie Ma, for publishing her first #rstats package {ggincerta} on CRAN πŸ₯³

Spatial uncertainty visualisation (bivariate, pixel, exceedance, glyph), like {Vizumap}, but fully integrated with ggplot2 -- a much simpler API with all the advantages of the ggplot2 system.

Data Analytics, Certificate (1753) < Western Kentucky University

It was business data analytics through WKU. Looks like they changed the name but I think the requirements are similar (catalog.wku.edu/graduate/bus...). It was just a taste but it gave me confidence to run with my ideas.

MANY bug fixes in this version! Including corrected duplicated text outputs and dramatic speed increases for brmsfit models (which used to refit the model entirely every time).

dplyr but make it bussin fr fr no cap `genzplyr` is an alternative syntax for `dplyr` that replaces boring old function names with GenZ slang. Your data wrangling is about to hit different.

To teach the new generation #genzplyr by @hadley.nz:

Two different shoes

Two different shoes

So I was at work today and looked down to realize I had put on two completely different shoes! Later I was talking with a parent about his child. As we were finishing he said, β€œyou probably know, but you have two different shoes on.” By that time I already knew but kudos for him saying it to me!
