In an absolutely shocking turn of events, #PhRMA (Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America) believes, in their submission to the #USMCA/#CUSMA trade agreement review, that Canada should be paying more for medicines.

I will appear later this week in Washington, DC.

As the only πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ industrial sector advocate among 150+ witnesses, I will be presenting data supporting a mutually-beneficial continuance.

As Canada lobbies for a speedy renewal of #CUSMA, a reminder that the review cannot legally commence until at least six months after USTR reports on its objectives in that review. There is no legal (or otherwise) obligation for Canada to do the same. #cdnpoli #canlab

The oil pipeline is not going to be built. The focus on a nonviable oil pipeline (by critics and supporters) masks the more problematic doubling down on slightly less nonviable LNG (w/out fixing existing leaky pipes and wells) + nuclear boondoggles, while giving AB an emissions holiday.
