I always assumed that Inhumans were the main reason AOS was always kept in arms length away from the rest of the MCU.

If they're going to be included, then at the very least S1 through S4 of AOS should be deemed canon.

I remember them saying they were trying out different ideas for if Billy and Agatha or possibly Wanda makes a return/appearance in Vision Quest so it's possible some things were filmed but not necessarily that they'll be used.
