HMCS William Hall returned to Halifax recently after a deployment on Op Caribbe, the Canadian contribution to US-led counter-narcotics operations. The deployment included patrols and interdictions with USCG Law Enforcement Detachment. Shows strong operational partnership between RCN and USCG.

Build of RCN's AOPS will be complete this year with delivery of 6th/final ship, future HMCS Robert Hampton Gray, this summer. The AOPS for the CCG are also progressing - launch of 1st ship anticipated in 2026 and construction of 2nd ship underway. As well, shipyard is ramping up for the RCD project.

Great that a Canadian submarine will be undertaking operations this summer after a long period out of the water getting repairs and updates. DND/RCN say HMCS Corner Brook is now Canada’s β€œmost advanced submarine.”
