And a large part of the problem is that boomers own all the housing and refuse to share, even with their families! My husband's grandmother owns unused property in multiple states, would rather pay property tax for the rest of her life than share. Surely the greediest generation in history.

And low cost of living is what makes rural life worthwhile. Not everyone cares about going to restaurants or seeing performances. I can cook better food than any restaurant I can afford to go to & there's entertainment aplenty online for free or cheap w/ no dress code or COVID risk.🤷🤔

Yep. That's the idea. It's weird to me that you might think of this as anything but the ideal. Dictionaries exist to *describe*, not *prescribe* what people say. It is a record of a living language and, to some extent, the people who use it. 🤔
