Padilla: If this is how DHS responds to a senator with a question you can only imagine what they're doing to farm workers, to cooks, to day laborers out in the Los Angeles community and throughout California.

Senator Alex Padilla is a good man and principled public servant.

The brazen and aggressive manhandling of Senator Padilla by the Trump administration is a sickening disgrace.

Anyone who assaulted the Senator should be held accountable.

The state of California needs to arrest the DHS "security" forces for assault and every Democrat in the U.S. Senate needs to sign onto a campaign to impeach Kristi Noem.

Trump said protests against him would be met with “very heavy force.” Sen. Padilla’s treatment suggests that’s their attitude toward attempts to question the king’s courtiers as well.

While Trump blusters about "law & order," a reminder that his administration has dropped or halted nearly 150 corporate enforcement actions.

And Trump himself has pardoned dozens of his supporters convicted of crimes like money laundering and bribery.

The hypocrisy is staggering.

This is the photo of Congress men and women the night of 9/11- showing solitary in support of our nation under attack. We need Congress to once again stand in solidarity with our nation under attack by the Administration. Enough!

Shhh. Republicans are trying to repeal Obamacare again. Sort of. They’re not branding it an Obamacare repeal this time around, but congressional Republicans are pursuing cuts to programs that are part of the 15-year-old health-care law.

Here's something everybody should be paying attention to: Congressional Republicans are trying to weaken the Affordable Care Act and put millions of people at risk of losing their health care. Call your Senators and tell them we can't let that happen.

A sliver of silver lining to the Trump tax injustice bill that the House passed last night: It's attack on public lands failed. On the other hand, it makes even deeper cuts to incentives for alt energy (even incl nuclear) than expected. So much for the R's position of "all of the above" energy.
