I’ve been thinking about this too. LLMs are deceptively cheap right now, subsidized by VCs. When their users actually have to pay what they really cost to run, we’ll see major reconsideration of how & where to use them.

And also, if you can't or won't work with those folks, that's fine too. Completely understand why anyone would feel that way. Saying 'offramps should exist' is not the same as saying who should build them.

There has to be nuance here. If people want to oppose fascists, we should encourage that. We need all the help we can get. That doesn't mean we trust or forgive them. True reconciliation requires accountability, but there are helpful intermediate steps before that happens (if it ever does).
