There are other initiatives in Japan seeking to preserve games, e.g., the collection of the Ritsumeikan Center for Game Studies (RCGS; www.rcgs.jp ). They also have state support. And there are some more local groups/individuals, e.g., a retro-gaming museum from Hannan, Osaka. Why not collaborate?
