horror games suffer so bad from this. probably most egregious example of how unimmersive this can be

A sheet of ideas for how to skin the animations of the Twicetail, largely to prove out the range of what was possible. Concepts based on a wolf, a bear, a squirrel and a gryphon- as well as a blind and armor plated star-nosed mole inspired version (my favorite) called the Echo Molecat

The classic quadruped design meant it was perfect for inventing new friends that could use the same core set of animations (with a couple fun flourishes)
When tackling skins I try to push to see how far we can possibly go. The Gryphon, and single tail options, felt like big wins for hiding reuse
