Finally starting to at least feel a bit more positive about moving next month. I've just about gone through all of my stuff and have somewhat of an idea of what I'm taking with me and what is going in the garbage. Definitely puts into perspective exactly what I own.

I'm looking forward to when I'm finally out of this apartment and settled at my dad's house so that I can finally focus on something else mentally for a change. I definitely think a change of scenery is going to help a fair bit overall.

Found some of my old movie ticket stubs earlier. I'm really happy that these still exist because I thought they were lost. I know I have a lot more somewhere, but these are definitely some of the older ones.

I will never understand people who move into a small, one bedroom apartment with a really big dog and then barely ever take the dog outside for exercise.

Going through all of the stuff that has been sitting in my closet for years and gradually getting rid of things is kind of a freeing feeling. It feels good to clean out a lot of this junk, but I've also found a lot of cool things in the process.

Finding a bunch of nearly 30 year old letters from an online friend I had back in ~1997-1998 is wild. Haven't spoken to or thought about them in a very long time, but I hope that life is treating them well.

Nothing like getting ready for a move to make you really reevaluate your life.

Good to know. I'll check it out at some point, but I'll wait until I check out the original and its sequel. Thankfully they are both on Shudder.

A Danish friend of mine just told me about the original NIGHTWATCH and its sequel a few days ago. Not sure how they slipped by me, but I'm excited to check them out. I'd like to check out this remake as well at some point since all three share the same director.

Planning to watch this one sometime this month myself! Been wanting to see it for a few years now and just haven't taken the time.

Trying to balance staying informed with current events and not watching the news incessantly or doom scrolling is maddening. I want to keep myself informed about the insanity going on in the world, but I also don't want to completely destroy my mental health any worse than necessary.
