30.10.2025 19:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My mom and her friends are finally retired, so they have the time to be in the streets, and they are PISSED! Itβs about time.

17.09.2025 18:37 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Every Monday I facilitate an English conversation class for speakers of other languages at my library. I always tell them how happy I am that theyβre there and how our class is full of kind people. I love when they make friends. I am proud that Iβm giving folks a safe space where they feel welcome.
11.09.2025 01:22 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0For sure! That is a nice neighborhood. I used to work on 18th & Everett, but lived south a bit on Morrison. Small world : )
09.09.2025 18:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I lived in a 400 sq ft studio in downtown Portland for $535 in 2007. Ten years later when I moved back downtown it was $1200. Now I work in Manhattan but live in North Jersey. Everything is so expensive.
09.09.2025 18:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0When I see people online, even in jest, suggest that people living in Republican-controlled states should be abandoned because of their politicians, I feel a deep heartache. Whereas the more cars there are, the *worse* everything about driving gets. Traffic. Parking.

In my experience, Yamaha keyboards are solid and donβt come with the excessive bells and whistles that you wonβt need (like a Nord for example). My boyfriend is a professional pianist with a Steinway Concert Grand, yet prefers a cheap KORG when he uses headphones. Thereβs no need to spend a ton!

31.08.2025 20:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I want a politics that widens the circle to include everyone, not one that shrinks the circle by throwing *undesirables* under the bus. I think this is basic. I am interested in a politics that is rooted at the sources of people's suffering. I am interested in a politics that attends to basic needs.
