I really wish I could help. I'm in a similar financial bind. If my partner, or our roommate, or I miss a single paycheck it's back to the streets. I'm gambling when it comes to paying my cover artist right now. I seem to have bet well, but I was very afraid of not being able to hold up my end of it.

I 100% understand your pain. It took me months of self-debate on whether or not I was even going to put up a Patreon account. I feel like it's being greedy, even if it's meant to benefit my work and prevent emergencies from being instantly disastrous.

I cannot stress enough that I would rather be getting work than having to ask for help like this. So check my services or idk... if anyone knows any opportunities for someone whose skills involve translation and/or knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese... Help in that regard would be extremely valuable.
