Double jaw surgery is not for the faint of heart. I’m me, so obviously I’m having a ton of complications. After being free from being banded shut for a week, I’m back in bands on a liquid diet. Mental health is deteriorating rapidly. Trying to stay tough.

I’ll be waking up from surgery in 24 hours if all goes well. It’s so wild that we’re almost here after 2.5 years. I still feel like there’s so much left to do to prepare. 😭😭😭

I don’t know why I’ve held on for so long, but I’m finally deleting X, FB, and IG. Is there a good alternative for IG, or are we just on our own there?

I had a chat with my therapist about how privileged I am that my job pays me enough to pay her $140 out-of-network fee and she had the audacity to be honest and mention that my job is predominantly what keeps me in therapy. 🙃
