When Trump gave his 'speech' to the generals he seemed to be short of breath. It's very possible he could go into congestive heart failure. Swelling of the ankles puts pressure on the heart and blood vessels to keep the blood moving and it slows when there's resistance to the flow.

The only reason for reactivating this pipeline dream is to get Smith off Carney's back.
It's not likely to go anywhere no matter how much we approve because residents along the US part of the route will not agree to it. It crosses the Ogallala aquifer, the largest source of water for many states.

I think Poilievre and Smith should have to walk the length of the route Smith believes should be run through northern BC. Not only would the route take decades to build, but there would be no real monitoring of the pipe. BC could have numerous spills that no one would clean up.
