Loads of them have rented, as in being on the landlord side of the equation.

Loads of them have rented, as in being on the landlord side of the equation.
31.10.2025 12:13 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Not having done anything wrong is not really relevant to the core point I was replying to, which was
"If it was good enough for the fucking Tories, it's good enough for Labour."
Getting down in the gutter with them is never going to be a good idea.
If you want to be the good guys, you have to be the good guys. When that means being held to the appropriate standard, when others don't give a toss, that is part of the price you have to pay.
30.10.2025 13:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This contractual notice period, is this the notice that the jobholder is supposed to give should they resign? If so, and assuming she did resign, why is anything due to her?
17.10.2025 12:54 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0As with everything else, less time spent working leaves more time for procreation.
16.10.2025 10:49 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I look forward to being able to use my digital id as my travel document, when traveling from the UK to the rest of the Schengen area.

A propensity for shooting people based on religious intolerance might be related to job performance in this instance.
I have seen no more EVs on fire on the shoulder of a motorway than I have attack ships off the shoulder of Orion.
09.09.2025 16:13 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Excellent, then let's have all the detail, exactly what will be done and how.

16.08.2025 13:05 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Sorry I was being unclear. Yes it is part of the driving test but that was a one off, and could be years ago. What we need is a requirement for everyone who drives to have good eyesight, and at all ages.
I would like it to be tested as part of periodic repeat driving tests.
That is the standard but it is not tested.
11.08.2025 21:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0There should be a compulsory sight test for everyone who wants a driving license, irrespective of their age.
11.08.2025 16:41 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0"He added that if the people on board were illegal migrants he would be "using every tool" to ensure they were deported."
I think that we can all identify the tool in this instance.
If Jim Bowen were still alive he would say "let's see what you could've won".
06.08.2025 23:14 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Because most people who identify as Christian are only nominally so.
06.08.2025 12:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The correct figure for Christians must be tiny really.
06.08.2025 09:13 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It is always going to be difficult to get public transport to fill the gap when lots of people have cars. As a result we end up with a situation where those who have no access to a private car have little access to any transport, because the other people who could make it viable are happy in cars.
05.08.2025 17:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And it is nothing to do with the engine type, it is the subsidising an essentially selfish form of transport.
05.08.2025 16:16 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Because for all their benefits cars also bring disbenefits and most people are blind to them. They may the best option for many people, for some or all of their journeys. The problem is that cars are routinely used by more people than that, and for a greater proportion of their journeys.
05.08.2025 16:14 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Perhaps we could find some other employments to protect.
05.08.2025 09:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It is not about the specific type of car but about cars in general. In this instance about people being actively subsided to be given a precedence over other people.
We should be spending money to encourage people not to be driving at all.
Every time I stand on a pavement, waiting for one of these cars to pass before I can cross, I will try to remember to thank our government for subsidising the driver's life.
