I think they must have been on loosened up but still distancing type rules.
I’m thinking that maybe if your list was broken down a bit into more detail, you’d get to tick off more completed actions (satisfying)

Also when working in a school it’s unsettling when the new intake are the offspring of former pupils you remember as if they were there yesterday.
