I have made a GRAVE ERROR

12.02.2026 16:31 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I wrote a d100 random advancement table for humans. Ostensibly for my Middle-earth Hexcrawl ruleset, I think this could easily be used for any fantasy adventure game. As I think that humans are the most warlike of peoples, this list could be used for your fighter random advancements:
12.02.2026 15:16 โ ๐ 127 ๐ 28 ๐ฌ 7 ๐ 4I love survival horror but this kind of thing is a huge selling point for me.
12.02.2026 15:20 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Friend, to me: "You like Gin and Tonics? I always imagined people who like those as depressed 1920s writers."
My partner and I in unison: "Yes."
Friend: "Oh, no one's ever... agreed with me on that before."
I desperately need people to understand that when it comes to video games and TTRPGs, the per unit production costs of a physical product are effectively negligible when compared to the cost needed to produce the digital product. PDFs and digital games are disproportionately under valued.
08.02.2026 19:02 โ ๐ 101 ๐ 18 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 3a glorious rat coin purse
twitter comments that range from "oh! so contradictory - laugh & cringe" to "so curious to know who would want this - any ideas?"
twitter must be dead dead cause someone posted a rat coin purse that would have 2019 twitter losing its collective mind and most of the top comments are bots saying random words or people not nearly amped enough about the rat coin purse

Shipping is as expensive as hell and indie creators should not try to subsidize it.
It will tank their project.
โThanks, doc! You see, I am Pagliaci, and learning that you think that what I do helps people, why, that cheers me right up!โ

The Dark Rites of Arkham uses elements from the work of H. P. Lovecraft, such as ๐โ๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐กโ๐ ๐๐๐ก๐โ ๐ป๐๐ข๐ ๐.
If you are familiar with the story, you might be surprised that not everything is as you remember.
we didn't finish denazification. we didn't finish desegregation. we didn't finish reconstruction. every opportunity for transformative change was deliberately sabotaged by american leaders who knew their wealth would not survive a world freed from eugenics, white supremacy, and war profiteering.

Gotchaโletโs dig into that step by step.
1. ๐ฌ๐ผ๐ ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ป๐ผ ๐บ๐ผ๐๐๐ต, because I turned you into an amorphous lump of flesh. Youโre not just immobileโyouโre immortal, and you feel only anguish.
2. ๐ฌ๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐บ. That makes total senseโitโs a natural human impulse, and youโve been through a lot.
*through a deluge of tears at 2:37am*
"๐ตMammago's Garage, you know!๐ต"
*sobbing intensifies*
"The wimps, the weak and the wuss's, still have 3 more seconds to get the hell out here, and back to their knitting, ha-"
*throwing up*
Ultimately we've got to reckon with the fact that much of the OSR movement is merely reacting to indie TTRPGs' tendency to lose sight of why many folks take up the hobby: for a safe and budget-friendly way to satisfy the natural human impulse to put one's friends in some kind of fucked up labyrinth.

After a couple of months, she received a phone call, which she recounts. โThis is Gary Gygax,โ said the voice, โand Iโd like to speak to Lee Gold.โ โIโm Lee Gold,โ I said. โI gather you got the copies of A&E I sent you.โ โYouโre a woman!โ he said. โThatโs right,โ I said, and I told him how much we all loved playing D&D and how grateful we were to him for writing it. โYouโre a woman,โ he said. โI wrote some bad things about women wargamers once.โ โYou donโt need to feel embarrassed,โ I said. โI havenโt read them.โ โYouโre a woman,โ he said. We didnโt seem to be getting anywhere, so I told him goodbye and hung up.
In the immortal words of Gary Gygax: "You're a woman!"
