there's no shortage of trans women artists drawing trans women in beautiful and dynamic ways. once again failing to represent trans women with love and care in your heart is a skill issue

Making art of trans women is actually not that hard if you know any or talk to any or respect women.

It is maddening that so much anti-trans discourse is flagrantly anti-academic and ahistoric. Being trans is talked about as if it's exclusively a modern thing, but if you do half a second of research it is extremely apparent that there are people who have been out for literally over half a century.

The terms of the debate haven't changed at all for Republicans, but now comes the part where "respectable" anti-trans actors like the NTY are forced to shed the fig leaf of "fairness in sports," and join in on directly questioning "the validity of transgender identity."

Trans people for the past decade: This isn't actually about sports or ensuing there's appropriate screening before someone starts medically transitioning. The goal is to effectively criminalize the existence of all trans people.
