Ardern and Shaw, willfully or no, were taken for a ride by National and Fed Farmers on climate change. Nats/Feds delayed climate action with false promise of seeking 'consensus'. As soon as they had the power they ditched He Waka Eke Noa and 'Zero Carbon Act'. Don't get fooled again.

Everyone expects the Govt to help them if required, but I think the political parties in NZ can be categorized by how their voters want the Govt to help others:
Nat: not unemployed
NZF: not immigrants
ACT: not poor
Labour: everyone but not too much
Green/TPM: everyone

The Post
Unbelievably, Shane thinks the fast track isn't going fast enough and it appears to be too democratic so him and Bishop are reining it in, with a new bill to be passed under urgency.
This is preposterous. www.thepost.co.nz/business/360...

Rangers will come out of the business as they're tax deductible, free money is for jetskis, boats, trips overseas and bottled water because their bores are contaminated with nitrates.

We had to ring the sound system party line after 10pm, listen to an answerphone message with directions. Then we'd pile into a car drive for 2 hours, normally we got lost on country lanes so we'd stop to listen for the bass. Often other cars would pull up from other cities looking for the party.

$5b-plus blowout for eight Roads of National Significance
The Government's 17 Roads of National Significance will cost it at least $44 billion β enough to rebuild Dunedin Hospital 23 times over. Marc Daalder reports.
New from me: Just eight of the Government's 17 Roads of National Significance have already seen costs blow out by $5.1 billion - before any shovels are even in the ground.
The full programme would cost $44-$54 billion on the latest numbers.

Simeon Brown accuses doctors of crossing 'ethical line' with mega strike
There were audible cries of disbelief during Simeon Brown's speech to senior doctors.
What I would say to you, Simeon, is that the health system should NEVER be underfunded or under resourced in the first place, that is all on YOU.
The only people to cross an ethical threshold are you and your colleagues.
