Seems very much like the US isn’t keen on having the UN on its soil. Perhaps the UK should offer if a new home - put it in Liverpool, on the banks of the Mersey. Would be a massive economic boost and justify significant investment in infrastructure!

It seems to be a consistent pattern which then leads on to criticism that the Government’s (and Labour’s) comms are crap. But how do you achieve cut through when the audience seems to have pre decided what you are actually saying and not looking at the substance - or even worse relying on hearsay?

I’m seeing lots of anger and upset at the Home Secretary’s statement to the House yesterday on immigration and asylum reforms.
