“Number go up” is NOT blockchain.

Tokens or coins (crypto) are just what makes things move along a chain and incentivizes miners and validators.

Let’s get the #education going in here.

They are being used to:

-store value in countries with faulty economies or political risk,
-pass money cheaply across borders,
-give resting assets value,
-confirm transfers to avoid fraud,
-ensure party privacy,
- speed inventory,
-and more.

I’m here to remind people that #crypto and #blockchain aren’t political, and aren’t scam technology.

They have nothing to do with political parties. Or identity. Or faith. Or belief in anything.

They’re just a technology.

The law doesn’t even permit this.

TikTok should have been banned in January.

I’ve done so many discussions about this - the president doesn’t get to pick the party or delay with no deal.

Doesn’t anyone even read these things anymore…?

I’m not much of a scroller, I’d like to interact live.

Right now I mostly just hold 2 spaces on X - one with investors with pitching, and one on economics and markets explaining what happened the week prior, and how it impacts your money.

Would be nice to do here.🤷‍♀️

I LOVE this - like having a conversation with someone you’ve never met.

My books are marked to hell in silent screaming matches with the authors.

Strange seeing this.

My parents came here as foreign medical residents, fleeing a brutal dictator. As the first born in this country, my entire family (even my sister), chain migrated through me.

We’re all highly educated doctors, lawyers, engineers- all working, w grad degrees. We’re the enemy?

There is better tech than Spotify, but more tech has to be built.

Are you interested? Are musicians interested? Or mostly just still hoping labels and Spotify decide to pay them more?

What about that $250 million in royalties that doesn’t get paid out each year- wouldn’t it be good to fix that?

This is why metrics matter so much!

They hold the info re: which levers are moving different parts of your business.

NO ONE KNOWS IN ADVANCE. You have to measure and screw with these in order to see what works and what doesn’t.

Good for you for figuring out which levers were triggering churn!

The problem is those of us who aren’t political but just educate (and it might only be me) but:

1. Have significant followings on X, built over years of work, and

2. Need spaces

Will have a hard time coming over here and starting again, especially without spaces or other interactive audio.

I don’t find X as hellish as others.

Possibly because I’m an independent.

Mostly because I stay in my own corner, and focus on helping founders and explaining regulations and law.

I run pitch spaces, break down new law and rulings, talk about the market and finance. That’s it.

Pretty drama-free.

You have to report anything worth more than $10, and can’t accept anything over $50 (I think that was the line - I got a book from the Brazilian government while at the SEC, and had to look it up - it’s a government employee rule, I worked at 3 diff agencies).

It’s because the rich prefer the poors fight a culture war amongst one another, than team up and fight a class war against them.

They’re not stupid. This is how aristocracies fall.

I wish there were live audio.

It’s a huge limitation here….

I can’t leave X without a place to build audio (or audio and video).

Is this a problem for anyone else?
