Someone has been nice enough to 'dreamlist' the game on the platform, but I don't know if collecting votes there will be more likely to get GOG to want to sell the game or not.

Can any game devs give me some tips on getting games onto GOG?

I've filled out their online enquiry form a few times over the past few months but haven't heard back! I'm not sure if that's a 'no', or if something is going missing, or if I just need to be patient.

Perhaps I should have put a message at the beginning of BKP saying "This was made by one nerd in their back bedroom, also the focus is on exploration and playfulness in the environment, not fiendish puzzle-solving. Try using everything on everything else."

I'm playing The Forgotten City at the moment, and I love that the developers have a message at the beginning explaining that the game was
A) A passion project made by three people
B) Setting expectations for the kinds of gameplay it involves.

I had to buy this, of course I did.

This painting "The Night Before the Exam" from 1895 by Leonid Osipovich Pasternak is one of my favourites because although the fashions might have changed, clearly the atmosphere generated by desperate last minute revision hasn't.

Not rude to ask! I've concluded that my knowledge of Macs isn't enough to make one myself and I've not had much luck managing to hire anyone to do it for me.

My best workaround is to get the version up on Itch...

After working on my game solidly for about three years in my evening/weekends I decided to take six weeks off from big creative projects this Summer just to chill out, recharge and catch up on all the games/books etc I've missed out on, and it turns out I suck at it.

Call for ADHD musicians! I am looking for people to take part in a research project about how ADHD affects the experience of performing music. You can take part if you: Are aged 18 or over Have ADHD (self-ID is valid). Are performing music semi-regularly (as a professional, amateur or student.) What you need to do Follow the link in the post to the survey. It will ask you questions about your attention and spontaneous movements (toe tapping, body sway, head bobbing etc.) in performance. It takes about 30 minutes and your responses are anonymous.
