8 and a pad

I'm so happy that, despite living on a tiny island, I still have a local electronics store with a wall of components that I can just walk into and get what I need over the counter.

Deliveries to the island take at least a week, even from Amazon.

Today I spent 2 hours wrestling with a DMX Artnet node that just would not behave, only to eventually find a tiny note on the manufacturers page, pointing to an alternative firmware that immediately resolved the problem.

Mildly infuriating waste of time.

Lots of pixels. Tonight when the sun goes down I will address and configure all the pixels and do a bit of a test before the crane comes to hoist everything up.

It's really crazy, I'm subscribed to a lot of similar channels, I live in Europe, and yet YouTube never showed me a single video of yours previously.

I am also doing very similar audio service work in my home workshop.

I've actually just finished making a YouTube video about NDI and comparing cameras, codecs, latency, etc.

It won't be released for a while though.

I'm making 14 videos, then when they're all done I release one every weekend, whilst I make some more.

In a show situation it's rock solid, reliable. A d with PoE pro quality cameras, it's super convenient.
