Gen X had free university and affordable houses, while Gen Z seems to have a different set of challenges—but they didn't have to start out with a financial crisis that reshaped our entire career path ✌️

Now, years later, those degrees feel useless. We were told to get an education to succeed, only to be hit with a recession that devalued everything we worked for. So when Gen Z and Gen X complain, it's hard not to feel resentful.

As a millennial, it feels like we got the rawest deal. We watched banks collapse and graduated into a crashing economy. The "great jobs" we went to university for disappeared, leaving us to work in call centers and supermarkets.
