it's even funnier bc my mom was basically honorary staff at that school and knew a lot of things parents probably shouldn't have known but she didnt know about this djdjfjjfkfkf

turns out my second grade teacher had noticed my walking was off, got details from my mom, found out that my doctor said i would grow out of it, and decided to take matters into her own hands

my mom had thought i had just grown out of it. i thought it was because i was the weakest kid in the class

share a piece of lore about yourself:

in second grade i had physical therapy to fix my walking due to being born with a dislocated hip.

i did not discover i had physical therapy until i was 20. my mom found out at the exact same time as me.

but either way screw fireworks pls hurry up and switch to drone shows already

weirdly im way more chill with new years fireworks? i feel like there's an etiquette there that doesnt exist on fourth of july

i was on the verge of a panic attack but stopped it by putting in noise cancelling earbuds and turning on train sounds so i couldnt hear the fireworks

fourth of july is the absolute worst holiday (this is not a political post this is an anti-firework post)

there's a song on an album i own that triggers me but it's a good song and i would love it otherwise and today it finally occurred to me that i could just. put the song into audacity and crop out the triggering part. and just have the part of the song that i have no problems listening to. 🤯

okay listening to "true love" again and the BEST point to pause is after anna watches the memory of her and elsa playing

for best experience after hans leaves anna to die but before olaf comes in pause the proshot and listen to "true love" ig

this in turn messes with elsa's "monster" motif in "colder by the minute", because anna referencing a nonexistent motif kinda just hangs over that especially since "monster" and "true love" were two sides of the same coin

turns out "true love" was an extremely critical part of the show and cutting it messes up "colder by the minute" which is the literal climax

probably could've been saved if "true love" wasn't the ONLY appearance of the true love motif prior to "colder by the minute"

watched the frozen proshot and i have more thoughts about "true love" getting cut than i thought i would
