Here is a different shot of the #Moon from last night, with different framing. I added the yellow circle, myself, to illustrate how big the Moon _looked_, due to the Moon Illusion.

The October 6, 2025 Full Moon is visible between power lines and tree branches. The Moon looks slightly yellow, and some of the dark maria are visible, although blurry.

Although the Perseids don't reach their peak until Aug 12, with the timing of the Moon's phases, the end of July, when the delta Aquariids peak, might be the best time to catch these crisscrossing meteors.
