Microsoft is a horrible company, and you should NOT support them and their genocidal products. In any form. I know everyone stops short of suggesting this, but: consider ditching Windows too. That's some of their biggest leverage, their ubiquity on the PC market.

I know a lot of you have already heard or read about BDS Movement's call against Microsoft, and felt weird and bad about it all, but decided to move forward as normal because of some degree of ambiguity.

"What service is Microsoft providing?"

Here it is, clear as day. A direct line to death.

Linux isn't perfect, but it's leagues ahead of Windows when it comes to privacy. It's also very customizable, very versatile, and there is a lot of compatibility lately with Windows stuff, depending on the subject.

I would recommend giving it a try.
