24 years ago today, we experienced the worst of humanity on 9/11 — but also the best. First responders dropped everything to rush to Ground Zero and save lives. It’s on all of us to honor the memories of those lost, provide much needed benefits to first responders, and build a better future for all.

There are violent extremists on the left but they are not in charge of the party. You can find them on social media, not in the halls of power.

The violent extremists on the right are in congress, on courts, and sitting in the Oval Office.

Don't play into the Kirk debates about those celebrating his death and the left vs right. You'll be playing right into the hands of those you seek to remove from power. They aim to sow division.

Threats were just called in at the DNC and HBCUs across America. We must come together, and with one voice overcome the forces of hatred that seek to divide us. Trump is stoking the flames of hatred and violence but we can’t succumb to it.
