📒🐦⬛🎶 The 23 bird calls that I heard by the river early this morning (December 2nd) added to my notebook.
🐦 No newcomers today, but a really wide variety of birds.
Oh I’ve only heard the tawny owl once or twice, but the barn owl most mornings. Yesterday I heard a short-eared owl too. The peregrine falcon has only appeared twice but I saw it hovering this morning. I’m always out just before dawn.

🐦 No newcomers today, but the Short-eared Owl was back after a long absence.

Looking downstream from Yarm Wharf towards Preston Park. The sun just appearing on the horizon, with blue sky overhead.
🌥️ I spent a cold hour sitting by the river Tees this morning, but some sun appeared just after dawn.
