This post from three minutes ago aged incredibly well.

I was in Seattle this time of year in 1995 and the playoffs were being broadcast everywhere I went. Also, I think I once saw a Ken Griffey Jr hit a home run at the metrodome- this all feels like enough reason to be a die hard Mariners fan.

Anyway, happy pumpkin spice season to all who celebrate.

Have been thinking about how old fashioneds are just pumpkin spiced lattes for the evening.

I realized the night before they were due that my college class expected me to turn in weekly reaction essays from the entire semester. I borrowed an Enya tape for my Walkman and wrote them all in one night- using the syllabus and pretending in earlier essays not to yet know what we learned later.

Timberwolves will never amount to anything until they finally move on from these terrible uniforms that they have been wearing for the past 300 seasons.

If you are from outside of the US and thinking of traveling here and wondering which cities you should visit one good option would be to listen to which cities our "leaders" talk bad about most and then go to those cities.

Not sure how to explain it but I just became more upset than usual realizing that today is still only Tuesday.

Seriously though, if you respect my opinion at all, you will listen to Stargazer by Rainbow at least once, kinda loud, sometime in the next six weeks.

There are many different templates for a one page profile that is part of a person centered planing approach to caregiving but that have a lot of other potential practical applications like you are both suggesting here.

I love this movie- although I agree with both your main points about needing more humor and less gratuitous gore. In general I like the "tourist runs afoul of a local scary thing" genre.

Like I said, some of the music parts are great- it's just hard to listen to this as an album. And this song (not on the album I have) is an all time banger. It's so good.

Ive never seen Titanic. At this point it's a life goal to never see it.

Band is called Porcupine Tree. Not sure on the album name despite owning it.

Trying to listen to this Porcupine Tree album while I cook dinner and the whole thing is starts & stops, alternating between loud & quiet, sometimes just a person talking. There is good music here but it’s like the producer has never actually listened to music before and doesn’t know how it works.

I hate when cars around me go faster or slower than I personally think they should be going. Much better if everyone would just drive the exact speed I think they should in every situation.

Good reminder to get your kid's ears pierced at the local scary tattoo or piercing shop- not the mall store.

I remember a time in my 20s when I would set my alarm on Sundays for 11:59 so I could wake up in time for kickoff. Now I'm sitting her thinking how perfect it is to catch the second half of the vikings game just starting at 10am.
