From what I can gather, newer Pokémon cards tend to go for more than older ones just because that's what the market cares about right now. Which is crazy to me but that's how it is I guess.

Apparently it was super hard to get even back then. I saw an Instagram reel of a collector showing off what he bought at a card show and I was taken aback by the 400 dollar Wurmple he showed. So I had to see what the hell it was.

The price disparity here is staggering.

I'm glad the world kind of unanimously believes that the best things to come out of Phantom Menace were Darth Maul and Podracing. Episode 1: Racer is a game I have a lot of fondness for despite being really bad at. That game gets HARD but it's so cool.

I actually think the basic premise of the first game, a young guy gets an overnight security job at a haunted pizza restaurant filled with living, murderous animatronics, is a decent enough plot for a B-movie style horror flick. It would almost certainly be a better film without all the crazy lore.

Even I cared about F n a F as an IP and didn't lose all respect for Scott years ago, everything I've read about these movies both from negative reviews from professional critics and positive reviews from the fandom makes them sound god awful. I like the puppets but uh... hard pass.

This could have been an opportunity to fix the writing issues of the games and make everything flow better and make more sense. But the fans want it just like the games so the movies just have to become these "greatest hits" of the game plots which again, were mostly slapped together. It's weird!

Well it's also like... he never expected the games to take off like they did so he ended up making a lot of shit up in the sequels on the fly and the fanbase really ran with the lore speculation. Which kind of works for a video game but a film needs like... cohesion.

Look, I'm not a filmmaker but that sounds like a terrible way to make a film intended for mass consumption released by a giant film studio to several thousand theater screens.

Every negative professional critic review of F n a F2 mentions how Cawthon is a terrible writer who shouldn't be writing movies and that is so funny to me. The fanbase is delusional and will say otherwise but I know in my heart of hearts that the critics are probably correct. Fuck that guy.

I bought Shredder's Revenge physical after long having beat the digital version just cause I liked it so much that I wanted a physical case for the shelf so I get it.

I’ve been in a Mario and Luigi mood after beating Superstar Saga recently, and the boss that has always stood out to me is the Chuckolator. I had such a hard time beating him as a kid, and have always loved the design, so I wanted to draw and post him! It’s M&L time!

Now here's a game I think gets way too much hate. Yes, the mission structure is pretty bad. Yes, it has maybe the worst boss in any Nintendo game. But I think the overall gameplay and creative mansion designs make up for it. Not as good as 1 & 3, but good.
