Recap of the semester start:
We kicked off this semester with the “Newbie Retreat” to welcome the incoming first-year cohort! During an exciting weekend filled with hiking, bonfires, and great conversations, everyone had the chance to get to know each other beyond the classroom.
This semester’s #Neurocolloquium organized talks from leading experts like Dr. Nancy Kanwisher (MIT) & Dr. John DeLuca (Kessler Foundation) — sharing insights on functional imaging of the human brain & cognitive rehab in MS patients. Thanks to all who made it inspiring, and see you next semester!

As part of the recent Neurocolloquium series, Dr. Flavio Donato (University of Basel) discussed the reinstatement of forgotten infantile memories, and Dr. Susanne Wegmann (DZNE Berlin) presented the causes and consequences of neuronal Tau protein 'activation'. Two very distinct and insightful talks!

The IMPRS Poster Day at the MPI for Biological Cybernetics brought together over 150 researchers.
The GTC collaborates closely with the IMPRS to shape an interdisciplinary research environment for neuroscience students in Tübingen.
