Microsoft workers and community members are gathering in Redmond, WA for the third day in a row to protest the company’s ties to the Israeli military. They have set up a vigil to honor the 60,000+ Palestinians who have been killed by Israel in Gaza over the last 22 months.

The “deal” that Brown made with the Trump admin is much more extreme than is being reported. It includes government oversight of course evaluations and no barrier to government interference in faculty hiring.

Sure! It’s not obvious if you don’t know how course evals, title vi/vii/ix complaints, employment privacy laws, gov’t oversight of agreements like this work. The agreement facilitates gov’t oversight of course evals in 3 ways.

Trump fires more immigration judges even as he aims to increase deportations Getting rid of judges adds to criticism of the Trump administration for not giving migrants or noncitizens enough due process before they're deported.

I had missed this. Not only is Trump deporting US citizens & denying migrants due process, but he is also terminating immigration judges while complaining due process is too cumbersome.
