The first review of Silent Hill F I read complained it was only 8 hours long. I did double that on Story Mode, and I don't feel I was properly exploring - to say nothing of repeat plays. And that's not even an open-world game!

It's been a long time since I played it. I remember liking it but thinking it could've pushed its ideas a lot more. Especially with the sanity system, which I remember not being as good as Eternal Darkness or CoC: Dark Corners of the Earth.

It's a factor, but it's certainly not the only one. The push towards better-and-better graphics and poor management can't help.

I've got lots to play right now but I'll get Bloodlines 2 at some point. From what I've heard, as long as you mostly play it for the story and the atmosphere, it's still perfectly enjoyable. It just shouldn't have been a sequel to Bloodlines!

Everyone's posting movies, so I'm going with RESIDENT EVIL REMAKE. Love RE2 but this is the only REmake that removes the need for the original. Keeps all the brilliance and adds so, so much more. It's a crime the Crimson Heads never came back.
