My dad and I ordered this game out of a magazine, thinking there was some Mario game we had somehow never heard of and missed, and we were so disappointed when it arrived and realized it was an educational game... and I still played the hell out of it.

Windows Notepad, the native simple text editor, now has formatting options and a Copilot button.

A clear-eyed survey of the world suggests that much of it is disappointing. FanGraphs is an exception. It provides a model of how not to be awful. Ask questions. Attempt to answer them in good faith, at the top of your intelligence. Recognize your shortcomings as a human with a brain. Repeat.

Working for FanGraphs and getting to contribute even a little bit to one of the best baseball sites on the internets was a real delight and privilege and honor. The baseball community is so much better for its existence. Now let's all look the other way as FG has a celebratory beer.

Just rolled credits on Pipistrello and the Cursed Yo-Yo, a GBA-style Zelda-like that was totally charming and polished. Easy recommend!

When I was about 10 I tried to uninstall Command & Conquer from the family computer by typing it into the search box and deleting every file that came up, including command.exe. It was a dumb thing to do.
