Yes, I looked up spoilers because I couldn't believe Manta wanted me, who unapologetically reads unhinged nonsense, to read a bland contemporary romance.

Time is precious, so I wanted to be sure everyone has the info they need before picking this series up.

However, something terrible happens, they separate, and then there's a timeskip. They reunite and then there's a genre shift. It's still contemporary but it's not a cute college romance anymore. It becomes a toxic contract relationship romance. And our green flag ML is now a red flag.

I didn't want to put this in the main thread, but I want to add another note about this webtoon. It starts off as a college romance between a green flag ML who desperately wants to date the studious girl.

I can't figure out if the characterization relies too much on well-loved archetypes so it just feels shallow or if the pacing is slow. There are hints of Eunyu having a stalker in the first 10 episodes but is it played up for dramatic effect? No.

It is nice having a green flag male lead, though.

There's nothing WRONG with the series. It's fine. Aggressively fine. All the elements are there, but somehow, they all slide out of my head when I put down my phone. I don't feel a pull to keep reading.

Eunyu is actually very pretty, but she hides her face beneath a baseball cap. Here, Jaeha is lifting it off her head to look at her face.

Jaeha is the quintessential handsome, popular college student.
