It did. About 90 minutes after we landed, they arrived on a later, delayed flight from Dallas. Put us in late and changed a few plans, but we had clothes for the trip at least.

We are in North Carolina. Our bags are in 2 other states. Maybe - they can’t seem to actually track them.

Also, they kicked us out of the secure side of the airport because it’s closed. The kiddo is sleeping on a wood bench at baggage claim while they do construction in the next room.

Or pilots just arrived! This was originally a 6pm flight but is delayed until 9 (have been here since 2pm so we’re starting out 9 hours late with 2 extra connections. One bag was sent on another flight to MCO. 2 bags still in Dallas - no idea if we’ll get any of our bags. What a cluster…

If this cancels tonight, we miss the cruise and catch the latter half of our trip staying at Disney World

We got a creative agent that has rebooked us to Wilmington (although it’s currently 2 hours delayed so who knows if they cancel) arriving after midnight, then a 6am to Miami with a quick connection to MCO.

My parents pick us up at 11 and we head to Canaveral for a quick cruise

Hundreds of flights delayed, canceled at DFW and Love Field as rain moves through North Texas Multiple, widespread rounds of rain moved through North Texas Thursday morning, with rain potential in the forecast for most of the day.

Problem is DFW was unprepared for the rain and it’s just been a cascading clusterfuck since. And since it’s AA HQ, it’s rippling into crew timeouts, out of place aircraft, and earlier cancellations have rebooked on all of the post storm flights.

No morning flights on any airlines I can find. Need to talk to service to see if we can get Atlanta, Miami or Tampa possibly. Really scared we’re missing the boat (literally) for my daughter’s first cruise

Well… fuck. Flight to Orlando canceled. Booked an earlier flight, took my kid out of school early, got here and they delayed there early flight to the later time and now we’re cancelled. Supposed to get on a boat in the morning but no flights open that get us there in time.

I know how this ends. And I’m ok with it.
