It probably is one these massive siberian boars, which are becoming an invasive species everywhere in the US. They're big and often agressive.

11.10.2025 12:44 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The movie seems to be very loosely based on Annie Jacobsen's book Nuclear War: A scenario. Denis Villeneuve is supposedly working on a film adaptation due for the end of 2026. Any news of this, and was it lost to the sands of Dune 3?
10.10.2025 11:54 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0You should really tally up your points and publish a revised list highlighting all your predictions that came true.
(And then they'll offer you a job as a psychic in Russia).
Meanwhile, Russians know how to live 12 more days: that's their average lifespan if they end up in the assault units after they sign a contract with the army.

With some "well trained" dancing dogs. Thanks for the compilation - and the laughs. It has already gotten worse.
01.10.2025 22:20 — 👍 6 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The thing is, Rosatom just promised to build four nuclear plants in Iran and aven if the customer foots the entire bill, I wonder if Rosatom still has the resources and the supply chain to deliver.
27.09.2025 02:20 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Thank you very much. Anything specific about their debt and such?
27.09.2025 02:17 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0@prune602.bsky.social , what do we know about the financial situationof Rosatom? Can they really afford to build new nuclear facilities in Iran? I believe that can't even afford their project in Turkey, right?

19.09.2025 13:50 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It's a large improvement as far as risks of window falls are concerned.
17.09.2025 22:30 — 👍 5 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I just read your piece. Very provocative, but I agree with most of it, especially with the general idea that trying to be perfect is often in the way of making large improvements right now. Climate politics also need reframing, too many principes were set too long ago, while science evolved.
17.09.2025 20:46 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Actually, the waste issue with SMRs is so acute that just building them is wasteful. You don't even have to load them with fuel. 😜
17.09.2025 14:33 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0They should refrain from attacking Ukraine during magnetic storms, as this is clearly more strenuous than doing homework. 😛😛😛
13.09.2025 12:58 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0In short, Trump won't do anything, because Hungary and Slovakia won't impose strong sanctions - therefore ALL europeans nations won't commit to them. Anyway, this is not the attitude of a strong leader, waiting for the others to move before committing,. It's just poor excuse for inaction.

12.09.2025 12:28 — 👍 17 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0What's the point of these moratoriums? OK, the farmers don't declare bankruptcy, but the banks aren't paid back and money gets even rarer. Does the state offer some compensation to the banks? Or is is just another disguised government mandated loan?
12.09.2025 12:09 — 👍 20 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I'm rather skeptical, but I'll read it with interest. My mind is not completely made on this issue.
30.08.2025 13:08 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Well, an order or magnitude is x10. Not that much considering all the demand. Green steel, green ammonia, green heating, green methanol, green SAF and so forth. Current production of biogas is 7 billion cubic feet; fossil gas, 4 trillion. An order of magnitude won't do it.
29.08.2025 20:29 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0The main issue with biogas is that everyone wants it. I'm not sure that we can produce enough to answer the demand. The second issue is leaks - methane being a powerful GHG, even modest leaks can impact the climate. Methanol might not be as convenient, but it avoids this pitfall.
29.08.2025 12:50 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I know it's off topic, but what about the part 2 of this two part manifesto you started a month ago? Either I missed it or it hasn't been released yet. It's strange that the powers that be would wait for so long before publishing it.
