Denying redress to abuse in care survivors who've committed crimes is unconscionable. Essentially they're saying the Crown will only show remorse for their failings to people who don't show their damage on the outside.

Happy Friday to the super wealthy country where 150,000 children live in poverty. That's about 1-in-8 young kiwis. Obviously, there is simply nothing to be done about this.

I’ve seen the skeet about this principle. I concur. Seeing a preteen develop up close the last year or so has added a lot to my perspective on how adults behave. These people are truly just small humans having big emotions they cannot process because they have permissive emotionally absent parents.
