I keep seeing posts here saying essentially this (and I 100% agree). Who is saying people on SNAP shouldn’t be able to eat certain things and where are they saying it? If it’s elected officials saying this, they need to be voted out!

Not only should the 25th amendment apply but also should be impeached for ignoring court orders, ordering Texas to gerrymander their maps, illegally setting tariffs, illegally murdering Venezuelans in boats….

If it's a primary I would vote the candidate that isn't being 2 faced and isn't selling out an entire group of people. If it came down to Newson vs a MAGA candidate then of course I'd vote for Newsom. And hope he'd do some serious soul searching.

"Likely unlawful" because they were preliminary assessments. When the final assessment comes out stating it is in fact illegal, how do they force the release of funds? Even though Trump is immune from prosecution, no one else is. We need to start going after those acting on his illegal orders.

Immigrant rights are human rights. Minority rights are human rights. Gay rights are human rights. Trans rights are human rights. We shouldn't be picking and choosing whose rights are worthy.

I hear you, but Newsom's trying to say how inclusive and compassionate Dems are while treating trans people as other. Some people are really damned tired of hearing they need to wait to be treated as equals.

I have long thought C level salaries should be regulated. It should be illegal for them to earn more than 20, 50, 100 times their average employee salary.

I just had shoulder surgery and am in week 4 of 6 wearing a sling with pillow. This hoodie is brilliant! I’d add a zipper in front, can’t lift your arm over your head post-op. I have gotten a few very loose T-shirts over my head with help, but generally need to stick with fyi t button shirts.

I like the idea of a mass blackout but think a full week is just not feasible for many people. Some (many?) cannot afford to not work for one day, let alone 5 or 7 days.

Why are we paying $20B to prop up an international authoritarian leader instead of spending money the Dept of Agriculture already has set aside to feed hungry Americans? And, I’ll note, would also help small grocers.

How about we help working people to not need food stamps by ensuring they receive a living wage? And actually tax the ultra wealthy to help pay for SNAP benefits for those who cannot work?

Unconscionable for any employer to not pay their employees a living wage. But especially evil when it's a (supposedly) democratic government not properly paying it's troops.

So can we the people sue the government not doing their job? I fear we cannot wait for the mid-terms.

Congress needs to act, only they should be enacting tariffs.

Sanders is just pointing out the hypocrisy and how ridiculous that it is that anyone actually thought Trump cares about the American people.
