I would have liked to hear more about Tony McQuail's pitch to merge federal NDP and Green parties -- an important idea, and one I hope other candidates feel compelled to chime in on.

This is a misleading statement, as anyone who listens to the episode will recognize -- the episode is 39 minutes long and Martin disclaims his affiliation at 8:30, right as they're about to introduce the candidates.

You're mistaken. Peace only comes about through investment in things like education, health, public services. This is stripping money from those things.
