The main goal of his journey was to remind Europeans that the war in Ukraine is still ongoing. In addition, Andrii was raising funds for electronic warfare equipment for his brothers-in-arms.
RFK literally running away from a man who has collapsed and needs help is... so on the nose.
Tragically, he is the head of our Health and Human Services Department.

Happy Election Day! For all the talk these days of skyrocketing utility bills, & affordability crises, it's unfortunate that one race you won't see receiving much national coverage is the one that probably matters most re: utility bills: Georgia's Public Service Commission. (1/2)

I see criticism of the ACA from the right and left that it funnels money to insurers. It does increase coverage, and that benefits insurers, and hospitals. But it's not unique to the ACA. It's also true of Medicare, Medicaid, and employer coverage. It's how our system works.

There are many histories of women who were locked away in mental hospitals for most of their lives because they were too "difficult" for their husbands to deal with, or had post-partum depression, etc. etc.
03.11.2025 05:21 β π 28 π 3 π¬ 0 π 0Until 1964, an employer could refuse to hire someone just for being a woman. Until 1965, it was legal for a doctor to refuse to prescribe birth control for married women. Until 1972, it was legal for a bank to refuse to let a married woman get her own account. Until 1972, it was legal for a doctor to refuse to prescribe birth control for single women. Until 1974, it was legal to refuse to sell a house to a woman. Until 1988, it was legal for landlords to refuse to rent a unit to a woman with children. Your granny didn't stay married because her generation had a stronger moral compass than people today. She stayed because society LITERALLY stole away all her independence. Think about that the next time someone wants to go back to "the good old days". It was only good for men ..... and only for men of a certain demographic, if you catch my meaning. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Too many today don't realize how recent women's rights and liberation really are. And we're on the cusp of losing it all.
