I’ll keep utilizing every legislative tool available to push back against these reckless attacks on our labs and research facilities.

Today, these life-saving programs that countless Coloradans depend on are under attack by Donald Trump and Republicans in Washington.

One year ago today, emergency response teams were fighting wildfires in Larimer and Boulder counties. We remain incredibly grateful to the brave first responders who acted swiftly to fight the flames and our communities who came together to help neighbors in need.

Had an incredible time this weekend in Larimer County hosting two town halls and connecting with folks at the Fort Collins Farmers Market. Grateful for every conversation and the chance to hear directly from our community.

Western and Northern Colorado know all too well the toll of wildfires — from the East Troublesome to the Cameron Peak Fires.

Proud to join @bennet.senate.gov in efforts to strengthen a key program to boost wildfire mitigation, watershed health, and forest resiliency across the country.

The Trump Administration has illegally frozen over $425 billion in federal funding for local law enforcement, education programs, food assistance, emergency response & preparedness, and more.

Today, we’re taking action to urge the courts to block this blatantly unlawful directive.

Serving our district and state means showing up in EVERY community.

That’s why I’ve held 14 town halls across Northern & Western Colorado over just the past seven months — including this past weekend in both Red Feather Lakes and Laporte.

Today I joined with several leaders in the House — @raskin.house.gov, Rep. Bennie Thompson, and @jayapal.house.gov — calling for oversight by the SEC into ICE’s alleged no-bid contracts with for-profit prisons.

Andrea Gibson, Colorado’s poet laureate and a national voice on LGBTQ issues, has died “Come See Me in the Good Light,” a documentary film made by the poet and their wife dealing with Gibson’s cancer diagnosis in 2021, won festival favorite at Sundance this year. Gibson was 49.

Deeply saddened by the passing of Colorado Poet Laureate Andrea Gibson, who inspired countless folks across the world through powerful poetry. The Boulder community has lost a tremendous member of our community.

15 years ago, I introduced my Lobbying Ban after I saw the "pay-to-play" politics in Washington up close.

It was clear then that we weren't doing enough to stop it. It's even clearer today.
