Ukraine should not be the only country to boycott the para-Olympics now that Russian and Belarusian athletes will be "wildcarded" into the games under their own flag. While the IOC doesn't control the para-Olympics their "no political" hypocrisy is blatantly obvious.

That's because the last flight is made up of the top ranked skaters. That's doesn't mean there are not occasionally surprises. The US male top ranked skater ending up in 8th is a good example.

There's a degree of anonymity this way. I suppose if you put it in your window the regime would come after you. Just a guess, but given the history I'm not sure I wouldn't do the same.

There's also a rule that the curler can return any rock that has been delivered but not crossed the hog line to the hack to be redelivered. I've actually done that once myself.

There is an ambiguity, perhaps. The ruling is the rock crossed the hog line, not the rock came up to the hog line. The rock hasn't crossed it. Either way both teams handled this badly. Issues go to referees not open insults on the ice. It's not hockey 😉.

Yes. But 2 meters is over 6 feet. Kennedy would be halfway down the sheet of ice if he didn't release his rock until 2 meters past the hog line. There used to be a light system that showed if you hadn't released by the hog line. This kind of stuff doesn't happen much in curling. Frustration I expect

Actually, since you're so nice and polite, I'll let you in on the fact that I actually have latent TB. Should that TB become active, you want me getting meds and isolating.
