I mean I now look at 3 social media platforms regularly.

Discovery was the main focus of the Atlantic piece. Poptimism was inevitably invoked.

I like listings, but I think the idea that people are going to discover music for the first time via a live show is a bit redundant now that there are so many ways to hear a recording first. And then there are plenty of ways you can keep up with the musicians you know you like.

The real problem is there’s not much traffic in listings.
