Why???? How was this better for him than just moving back to his seat?

Sadly the last decade shows that caring about democracy isn't the political winner it should be.

It creates a very intriguing style. I almost want to say it should either be slightly shorter and snappier or, alternately, linger for awhile longer (maybe multiple shots can create a cumulative 'dazing' effect that takes a moment to wear off.)

Edit: I'm bad at math and would like to revise this figure to five hundred years.
