So many! The first that came to mind are Skinny Legs and All in middle school and Patriot Games in elementary. Not only was I left unsupervised, adults let me read anything I wanted because I was a “good” kid.

Whenever I put on Neon Bible by Arcade Fire, I feel compelled to write an epic story about religious trauma. Possessed even.
