Expect photography, cats, the occasional motorcycle, music. Cranky old git from NL. Dishwasher repair guy, or so it seems. Pics are mine except explicitly noted. No AI pics. I'm not following back automatically.

Sennapoes. (2006-2017)
Named after my grandson, who was named after Ayrton Senna. So it counts.

~ Jean Paul Sartre, The Flies
It took me, if I remember correctly, between 20 minutes and half an hour to make this photo.
As I was walking around with a light meter (I really wanted to get this absolutely right), I noticed that I was kicking up dust, which "made the light visible".
A Harris' hawk in flight, panned.

I love panning, I really do. Here's a shot to prove it.
It's just that this week, I had no time to even try to give it a shot that might have turned out worth the effort. So this one is from the archives, and as such it doesn't count.
This is who tries to run this account.
01.02.2026 19:55 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0An empty, derelict factory hall. There are many holes in the roof, there is a nonexistent skylight. Everything is covered in a layer of dust, and there's a bit of unidentifiable debris on the floor. On the right of the hall is a large opening, as if there was once a large sliding door there. Sunlight falls straight into the hall, at a 45ยฐ angle. The dust in the air makes the sunlight visible. In the sunlight, an empty, cobweb-covered chair is seen, facing the sunlight, suggesting that someone had been waiting there, and has since gone towards the light.

This is more post-drama than actual drama.
