From Powerlessness to Power We will not achieve any of our ultimate goals without exercising state power, and the most effective way to take state power is through nonviolent but confrontational resistance.

β€œLet us be clear: we want the power of the state. We wish to hold the criminals of the regime accountable. We wish to seize back the public funds looted by Trump and his cronies. We wish to undo the damage he has done to the government. More than any of that we wish to rebuild.”

the Epstein files make it very clear why the MeToo backlash was so extreme and why so much of elite society preferred Donald Trump ruling us like a king to the barest hint of accountability

"I don’t know what lies ahead on this bumpy road, or how many more Alex Prettis or Renee Goods will have to die before the positive moral force that awoke in Minneapolis can fully reclaim America. It’s hard to think about. What’s clear is this: The time for choosing is today. Which side are you on?"

This is correct. This is what everyone needs to hear and know in their hearts, especially right now.

Centrists, corporate Dems, and the Establishment won't save us, folks.

They are part of the problem.

What more do you need to see?

We need to purge the entire party and replace them with FIGHTERS.

This is my favorite photo from the walkout today. I love her sign, her mitten, her hat. The walkout in McMinnville, Oregon had an older crowd until the march of students from the high school showed up. It was grandparents and grandkids. It's rural and there were lots of honks from the big trucks.

Pew Research Institute (2023):

β€’ Red State Texas has about 2.1 million undocumented immigrants

β€’ Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants

β€’ Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.

I have Scleroderma with moderate ILD and mild PAH. Diagnosed in 2022. In April this year I made significant changes to my diet and the results, in terms of lung function, have been dramatic and encouraging. My Docs are very excited and watching closely. You can PM for me more details.

People need to go to prison for allowing this, especially Trump. If we don't get accountability, selling-our-government to the highest bidder will never stop.

If any other president in all of history said the military should use American cities as a training ground he would be removed from office that same day. The hardest thing to tolerate in all this is how relatively silent elected democrats are. It’s ridiculous.

Statement from Democratic Governors on Donald Trump's Use of
California's National Guard
DGA Chair Governor Laura Kelly, DGA Vice Chair Governor Andy Beshear, Governor Tony Evers, Governor Bob Ferguson, Governor Josh Green, Governor Maura Healey, Governor Katie Hobbs, Governor Kathy Hochul, Governor Tina Kotek, Governor Ned Lamont, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, Governor Dan McKee, Governor Matt Meyer, Governor Janet Mills, Governor Wes Moore, Governor Phil Murphy, Governor Jared Polis, Governor JB Pritzker, Governor Josh Shapiro, Governor Josh Stein, Governor Tim Walz, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer released the following statement:
"President Trump's move to deploy California's National Guard is an alarming abuse of power. Governors are the Commanders in Chief of their National Guard and the federal government activating them in their own borders without consulting or working with a state's governor is ineffective and dangerous.
"Further, threatening to send the U.S. Marines into American neighborhoods undermines the mission of our service members, erodes public trust, and shows the Trump administration does not trust local law enforcement.
"It's important we respect the executive authority of our country's governors to manage their National Guards - and we stand with Governor Newsom who has made it clear that violence is unacceptable and that local authorities should be able to do their jobs without the chaos of this federal interference and intimidation."

One side is an unlawfully masked, unbadged secret police rounding and arresting law-abiding essential workers to prop up a fascist regime

The other side is citizens resisting an unjust government, just as MLK taught us to do.

I am 100% on the side of the American people against ICE. Who's with me?

As Trump and Musk are mad at each other, let's remember this doesn't mean they and their supporters - the MAGA ethno-nationalists vs the far-right tech anarcho-libertarians - aren't exactly who we thought they were: Exactly as dangerous, as ridiculous, as rabidly opposed to egalitarian democracy.

I find myself getting sincerely emotional about this. That he’s, under the circumstances, okay. That his wife and kids know this after an agonizing month without him. That a Democratic politician cared enough to go and see him, even after getting told no at first. Trying matters. Fighting works.

Extortion being one of those crimes. We coined a term in our house for people like these lawyers who cave to Trump - extortable. Seems the richer and more powerful you are the more extortable.

I remember the first time I had my elderly mother assessed for dementia. She took the cognitive test and got less than half the answers right. Later she told one of her friends that she'd done really well and "gotten all the answers right."

β€œI wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

I know this is super obvious, but: The United States government threatening foreign students with disappearing them to prison camps in El Salvador because they exercised their constitutionally guaranteed right to freedom of speech and assembly is so incredibly dark, disgusting, and dangerous.
